Once home to one of Carlow’s most powerful families, the Ducketts’, the ruins of this 17th century gothic mansion come alive with whispers from the past as shadows lengthen and daylight fades. Beneath its towers and through its crumbling halls, strange happenings have long been reported – flickering lights, ghostly figures and unexplained footsteps echoing in the dark.
Join us for a ghostly guided tour through the grounds as we delve into the legends and eerie tales that still haunt this place. Led by a storyteller, you’ll be taken through the chilling history of Duckett’s Grove – where fact and folklore are eerily entwined. And as dusk approaches, a ghostly red glow begins to pulse through the ruins. The house comes alive in an eerie crimson light, with haunting figures lurking in the gloom.
