An Gairdín Beo is a vibrant urban community garden in the heart of Carlow Town, and while its Cruinniú na nÓg events focus on fun, creativity and learning for young people, parents can take the opportunity to explore and enjoy the garden’s peaceful surroundings. These workshops offer a unique way for families to connect with nature – young people can get creative while grown-ups soak in the beauty and ethos of this special space on the Carlow Garden Trail.
A Journey to Dreams – Candle-Making Workshop for Teenage Girls
Come and join the magical experience at An Gairdín Beo and embark on a journey to create personalised dreamy candles! This in-person workshop will provide guidance through the art of candle-making, allowing the participant to unleash their creativity and craft a unique candle to take home. Moreover, it’s not only about making a candle, it’s about the process of reaching out to ones authentic self and responding to their inner callings. It’s about dreaming and making dreams come true, by being in the flow.
Let’s gather together, share stories and immerse ourselves in the soothing process of creating something special. Don’t miss this opportunity to have a fun and exciting time! Event is for teenage girls from 15 and up to 18 years old. This is a women’s club and go by the name “New Way”. The goal and value of this club is to bring women together, create a community filled with growth and joy!

Come enjoy this screening and performance from Carlow Youth Theatre in the wonderful setting of An Gairdín Beo. “Carlow Through Our Eyes” is a unique film-theatre experience that showcases Carlow County from the perspective of young people. Carlow Youth Theatre have developed the piece with young people over the course of a series of workshops for Cruinniú na nÓg.
