Experience the magic of early morning this May at Altamont Gardens with the enchanting Dawn Chorus. As the sun begins to rise listen to the song of native birds greeting the day.
Guided by knowledgeable experts, visitors are invited to stroll gently through Altamont’s woodland paths and riverside walks, learning to appreciate the calls of species such as robins, blackbirds, thrushes and finches. The calm of early morning offers a rare chance to connect with wildlife in a truly intimate setting.
Limited places available. Book early at altamontgardens@opw.ie to avoid disappointment. There will be an early start! Please be on site for 4.15 a.m. as the event starts at 4.30 a.m.
